Created in 2019 by Ali J, a hiker, adventurer, and history researcher from Mauritius, Let's Discover Mauritius is a personal blog dedicated to educating and guiding people about the history of Mauritius through its architecture, heritage, and events, as well as discovering its natural beauty through waterfalls, mountains, and places of interest.

Mauritius is rich in historical architecture and places of interest, holding a deep history spanning various governorships since welcoming the Dutch in 1598. People from around the world, particularly from Africa and India, came to work in deplorable conditions to build this nation.
